was born and raised on Long Island, NY to working class parents. He is no stranger to adversity. He was born with a stutter and faced harsh bullying for most of his life. When he was 21 years old, he enlisted in the United States Navy and after 4 years of service, he was honorably discharged. Once he had his discharge in hand, he moved to Seattle, WA to pursue his childhood dream of being a writer and author. The rest, as they say, is history.
